1. The service

InstantModerate is a software-as-a-service platform operated by Common Consultancy ApS (CVR: 40295453) that provides automated and manual comment moderation for Facebook Pages. The service includes a web-based dashboard for reviewing comments, keyword-based auto-hide rules, and moderation actions such as hiding, unhiding, deleting, liking, replying to, and blocking the authors of comments.

2. Access and accounts

  • Access to InstantModerate is granted on an invite or sign-up basis. Your organization must be activated by Common Consultancy before Facebook features become available.
  • You must have the necessary administrative rights to any Facebook Pages you connect to InstantModerate.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your login with others. Use the invite feature to grant access to team members.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use InstantModerate to:

  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, stalk, or monitor individuals
  • Circumvent or violate Meta's Platform Terms or Community Standards
  • Attempt to access data or accounts belonging to other organizations
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the operation of the service

4. Customer responsibility

  • You are responsible for your moderation decisions and for ensuring that your use of InstantModerate complies with all applicable laws, including data protection regulations.
  • InstantModerate is a tool. We do not make editorial judgments about content. Automated keyword matching may produce false positives or miss certain content.
  • You are responsible for configuring keyword rules that are appropriate for your context and audience.

5. Third-party services (Meta)

InstantModerate relies on the Meta Graph API to access and manage Facebook Page content. The availability, functionality, and performance of InstantModerate are subject to changes in Meta's APIs, policies, and terms.

Your use of Facebook features through InstantModerate is also subject to Meta's Terms of Service and Meta Platform Terms.

6. Service availability and support

  • We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance windows may occur.
  • Support is provided via email at common@commonconsultancy.com.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Common Consultancy ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of InstantModerate.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Common Consultancy ApS for the service during the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim.

8. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to InstantModerate at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.
  • You may disconnect your Facebook Pages and cease using the service at any time.
  • Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion instructions.

9. Data protection

The processing of personal data under these Terms is governed by our Privacy Policy. InstantModerate processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

Users may contact their local data protection authority if they believe their rights under applicable data protection laws have been violated.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
